New website launched for Preston Markets

This week has welcomed the launch of the new Preston Markets website providing a showcase for Preston Markets and offering all the information a visitor needs.
Find out about current traders, follow the blog to catch up on all the latest news and updates and keep an eye on the events calendar to see what's on throughout the year. There's even a history section for those interested in discovering about the markets long established past.
Visiting Preston Markets
Sitting proudly in the Harris Quarter, Preston's cultural heart, and a few minutes walk from the Harris Museum Art Gallery and Library and Preston Bus Station, you will find Preston Markets.
Quality fresh food
If you're after fresh quality local grown food, Preston Market Hall is the place to visit. Located under the impressive 1875 Victorian market canopy, the inviting contemporary building offers a one stop location for fresh, local produce supplied daily by an array of established independent traders.
From the highest quality locally sourced meats and a fine assortment of fresh fish to a great selection of local and continental cheese and a wide variety of fruit and vegetables, you can be sure to find everything you need and more.

Or, if you prefer Indian street food, then head over to Chacha's for fresh flavourful eastern tastes. For those after a more traditional meal, why not stop by Redmens - a local go to for a quick lunch or something to take home for tea. If you fancy a chilled contemporary cafe setting, then look no further than Cherry Pie or for watching the world go by, try Aunt Dolly's.
Or, if you stop by at the Box Market make sure to pay Jonah's a visit. Sit in or take away, Jonah's serves artisan coffee that combines flavour with the caffeine boost you crave. The box café also serves breakfast, cakes, snacks, and thirst-quenching drinks.

Once you're done shopping and full from one of Preston Markets amazing cafes and food to go stalls, before heading off make sure to drop by The Orchard craft beer bar - a hidden gem waiting to be discovered.
